Residential deliveries are limited and must meet the following requirements:
The item must be visibly inspected by a Cordova Courier driver at pickup.
Items must be professionally packaged and in safe condition for transport.
Residential deliveries may be subject to adjusted mileage rates, wait-time charges, or additional handling fees.
High-value, fragile, or sensitive shipments may require commercial pickup only.
This policy ensures the safety of our drivers and the integrity of your shipment.
17. Cordova Courier Government Contracting Coverage Policy (Updated)
Cordova Courier will fulfill all government contracts using company drivers and company-owned vehicles as the primary service layer. Independent contractors directly contracted by Cordova Courier may also be utilized when necessary, with company drivers designated as the backup layer to ensure uninterrupted service.
In addition, Cordova Courier may partner with vetted and fully insured courier companies as authorized subcontractors. These subcontractors must maintain the same operational standards required by government agencies and by Cordova Courier, including any compliance, security, or delivery performance obligations.
Subcontracted courier companies may utilize their own independent contractors, provided they certify full compliance and meet all performance, security, and chain-of-custody requirements.
This multilayer structure ensures Cordova Courier maintains continuous service capability at all times and protects government clients from any service disruptions.
